In the Course Integration Lab (part of the BSc Interdisciplinary Social Studies) at the University of Amsterdam, students determine their personal learning goals in the areas of problem-solving and collaboration skills at the beginning of the course (feedup).

During the course, students have to monitor their own progress (feedback). During this course, students learn to reflect on their own actions and learning by writing reflection reports. At the end of the course, students are able to set new personal learning goals based on their previously accumulated self-knowledge (feedforward).
